Daily Gel Moisturiser

It has been a struggle for me to find a lotion that helps make my skin look better as well as just moisturize it. I think I've finally found what I've been shopping for.When I first got the bottle, it looked pretty small and I didn't think it would last very long. Then I saw the directions and realized a little goes a long way. I love the slight tingle when I put it on and it spreads and absorbs really well. The smell is great too, though I think it comes in unscented too. After about a week of using this lotion, I noticed my pores were getting smaller and my facial skin just looked better and healthier.If you want to take care of your face, just get this and use it every day. You won't regret it a bit.

I decided to try this moisturizer as it had good reviews and it was reasonably priced. I have tried several moisturizers in the past so I am comparing this to the others, including Kiehl's, Clarins, La Roche Posay, and Cerave.Pros: nice consistency, good smell, and good moisturizer once blended in.Cons: even though the smell is nice, in my opinion it is a little too fragrant as others can smell it on you; however, you can buy the unscented version so that's not the biggest deal.I think the bottle is poorly designed, which is something I read in another review: it is hard to control how much comes out of it so it ends up spitting out too little or too much at once (I bought the 2 ounce bottle).Lastly, my biggest issue with it is that as you are blending it in, it creates a a white foam-like texture that you have to keep working in for a little while if you don't want white streaks on your face. That is not something I have experienced with any other moisturizer.Overall, I think it's a reasonable moisturizer, but I have seen better ones for cheaper. And considering its price is close to the cosmetic brands (like Clarins and Keihl's), it does not compare to them in quality. I would not recommend this product.

Very nice moisturizer, it goes a very long way, so it may seem expensive but it goes very far, feels very nice to put on, seems very runny at first but it instantly soaks into the skin and makes it lovely and soft, unfortunately though I don't think it agreed with my very sensitive skin, it seemed to make skin looks a bit red and flushed, it's a shame because I really would have loved to be able to carry on using it.if it did agree with my skin I would have given it 5 stars definitely

Smells great. Not overpowered when worn. I did not notice a difference in my skin after several weeks. Also the bottle design is difficult to dispense the lotion. To get your money's worth you'll have to cut it open. This should be redesigned.

I have combination skin, very oily throughout the day but initially dry. Although this lotion felt great on skin, I noticed that after a couple hours it simply looked like I had rubbed half a bottle of lotion on my face - I was that shiny. Other notes was it left my skin feeling and looking oily and clogged. I wouldn't recommend to people with acne prone/oily skin but I can see how it might work with people with normal complexions.Note - a little goes a long way

Followed the instructions but does not work as good as advertised.

The product works all right; but I don't like moisturizers with fragrance.

I am not crazy about this moisturizer....a bit too oily for me. Didn't make my skin feel good.

Smells great, moisturizes well at first, but dries quickly for an expensive product.

My husband uses this product on dry skin but has to use a moisturizer over it. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Its ok moisturizer, but overrated for its price. Did no notice difference, before and after using. Been using for about a month.

Wish i did the scented lotion and the bottle was open on delivery. But this stuff is still amazing.Leaves my face moisturized and light

Just starting using it 2 weeks ago. It feels good and is not oily which I really like. I will update after a couple of more weeks

Seems a bit watery, won't smooth/absorb into skin without a lot of rubbing .

This is a decent product. I will order it again, but not the scented version. The scent is not pleasant at all. Very medicinal.

This product would be a favorite of mine if it had no scent to it.

Only thing is good about this product is it will get you habit to apply lotion on your face everyday since you are paying too much.

Quality product but the price is too high. I also needed to use half again more than it's said so it's not going to go as far as I hoped but was happy with the product other than that

Next time I'd go for unscented, my bottle smelt like a weird rotting orange ginger mint combo. A little goes a long way and I have noticed softer skin which is great. Bottle is tiny so its a bit expensive.

It’s a decent moisturizer. Nothing wow to rave about. I don’t think it’s any better than your regular department store face moisturizer.

I like this stuff. I wish it was a little thicker and more substantive. Smells light, non-intrusive. I'll have to use it for longer to judge it's effectiveness. Nice small bottle to toss in a gym bag.

I did not find it to be moisturizing at all. If anything it's slightly drying. I wouldn't recommend the scented version for sensitive skin as it was irritating to me. It did however absorb very quickly and helped with my oily skin. Overall, I was not impressed, but I may give the non-scented version a try as oily skin is an ongoing issue for me.

The price per volume is good, you get a lot of decent Moisturizer for the money. The Moisturizer is really light, and I've been applying a few times a day lately. Mostly aloe based and it absorbs very fully. I prefer a bit of a shea butter like feel on my face. after several months of use and three bottles I'm still mixed on the smell. Not a bad smell, but a little astringent. It fades within an hour or so.Using other creams has been better, with visible results. I've bought this a few times, but I'm over it and I probably wont try any more brickell products. I prefer Loccitane light comforting cream, which I will probably stick with.

People in general have been right about the scent, there is a fish scent to it. I was a little leery of that before I bought it, but I normally really like Brickell products (face wash, shampoo, conditioner), so I thought I would give this a try for a moisturizer. I detect a little lemon scent, too, which makes the smell at least tolerable for me.I think it moisturizes fine and the thing I do like is you don't need to use a bunch, it applies easily and evenly without being too sticky or runny. It does make my skin a little red for about 10 minutes, which I think could be an issue for people with sensitive skin (my face usually isn't too sensitive with products).I will use the rest of what I have purchased and then probably try a different moisturizer.

I wanted to like this product, and I guess I still do since I gave it 3 stars It has a lot going for it..namely the quality ingredients. However, there are a few issues that need addressed:1. Consistency: Far too runny/watery, which makes me think there is excessive amounts of aloe vera compared to other ingredients.2. Dispensing from container: Due to the runny nature of the product, the flimsy nature of bottle makes it easy to dispense far too much of this product into your hand while using it.3. Price Point: While a high quality product, the first ingredient (and it is loaded with it), is aloe vera. It's just not worth 35.00 for a 4 oz bottle. It needs to be more concentrated and less watery.Overall 3 out of 5 stars.

I loved this product, but on my latest order (mind you I returned and re-ordered to be sure) I noticed the scent, color of the product, and the bottle labeling itself has changed when when compared to the previous bottle I threw away and the picture being advertised.Now I don’t know if this was meant as an improvement so as I use their new product I’ll see if it works the same, better, or worse for my skin type.Rating is mainly based on the change because they didn’t advertise the change and the scent now isn’t as charming like before in my opinion.

The scent is fine but the consistency is a bit too watery for me. It dries fairly quickly and no heavy residue.
