Dark Spot Serum

This has helped even my skin tone. Doesn’t leave my face greasy or sticky. Leaves skin smooth and glowy. Has great absorption and actually really works. My dark spots have faded and my skin looks and feels so much better. Good size for a great price.

Products take time to work but I wanted to show where I'm at 2 weeks in! Im targeting fresh (last few months) acne scarring and years old scarring from ingrown hairs under the chin. The chin marks have been slowly lightening with consistent routines and sunscreen use. The marks used to be black.Love the consistency of this serum. Its light and not heavy. Anytime I start using a new product, I worry about irritation or interaction with mt other products. I've kept it simple using cleanser, toner, this serum, moisturizer and sunscreen.No irritation this was very gentle! The spots are a little less noticeable in person on my cheek. Can't wait to see results at 30 days and 6-8 weeks.

I am a 55 year old man, with no systemic health issues. The first picture(before use) was taken in May 2021. The second picture was taken today, December 10th, 2021. I have used the product almost daily, applying a very small amount each morning and each evening. In total I have used 3 bottles(I think). I began to see improvement after 30 days of use. The reduction in the dark spots has continued each month, to the point that some of them have completely disappeared. To be transparent, I have missed several days of use over the past 7 months. At some points, skipping a full week. The dark spots did not return during those times. I have no way of knowing if the spots will return if I completely stopped using the product. But, at $20 per bottle, and it taking 2-3 months to use a full bottle, I believe I am a user for life. I use two pumps of the bottle in each application. The amount of solution used is less than the volume of 1 thin dime. I apply the product using my finger tip directly to the spots and vigorously rub it into my skin until is it somewhat dry. When it dries it leaves a slightly sticky residue initially. But after about 15 minutes it is completely dry and not visibly noticeable. I don’t know exactly what causes our skin to produce these dark spots. But, some readings would suggest that it is liver function dropping off with age. So, I began taking Milk Thistle and doing some liver cleanses as well. I am a fairly healthy 55 year old man with no systemic medical problems that require medications. So, this product may not work for everyone. But, it definitely works for me. I live on the coast of Florida and I am out in direct sunlight a good bit. I don’t use the product on days when I plan to be out on the beach, as it is not recommended for use prior to extended direct exposure to harsh sunlight. It is my belief based on my own personal experience that using the product even a few days a month after the spots have been reduced, will keep them from reappearing. I am not a very vain person, but I certainly don’t want to look years older than my actual age. My hair has already turned gray. So, the dark spots were adding years to my appearance. I am very health conscious and I don’t want to harm my skin in any way. So, I wear sunscreen on my face, now, everyday that I plan to go outside for any length of time, especially in the late Spring and Summer. I hope this helps someone. I have other pictures, but these two should suffice as proof of the effectiveness of this product.

Update #2: 3/16/22I'm now on Day 24 of using it (only on the 2 most visible dark spots on my face). These 2 dark spots are almost completely gone. I'm quite shocked actually. I skipped a few days here and there because I noticed that the areas I apply this cream will sometimes get over irritated/dry/flaky and I need to give it a day or two to "heal" the area before reapplying. It's worked so well that now my other, smaller dark spots - like larger freckles along the perimeter of my face seem to look more noticeable now that my two big dark spots are almost gone. I'll start trying this cream on those other areas today and using it regularly to see if it starts to lighten them as well. I was most certainly skeptical about this cream in the very beginning - especially since my dark spots looked DARKER. But after sticking with it and giving it time to do it's thing - it's definitely working. I'll continue to update as I try other areas on my face.Update #1: 3/2/22I'm now on Day 12 of using it. I posted my original review below on Day 8. After deciding to use a wash cloth each day to lightly wash/scrub my face, I started to notice that the areas where I apply the dark spot serum are starting to lighten because the skin is in fact "peeling" away, showing my more natural skin tone underneath as it regrows. So it seems like, at least in my case, the dark spots were darkening in the beginning due to the skin drying up or shedding, and after I gently scrubbed those areas, it was eliminating the top layers of skin. What a relief! I'll continue to update my review as I continue with the serum.Original Review: 2/26/22I thought I was going crazy these last few days because I swore the spot on my cheek as getting darker. I'm glad I took a before photo for comparison. After taking a picture today (using the product once each night) and comparing it to the same picture from last week, I swear it looks darker. I'll check again in another week & see if it starts fading at all. I tried reading in any of the questions if anyone's spots got darker before getting lighter, but I didn't see anyone comment that that's how it works. Someone did say that it "peels" your skin, which is how it lightens it. So I'm hoping that maybe this darker spot will start to peel and gradually start lightening the spot. Regardless, I'll update in a week or two and see how the progress is going. So far, I'm not impressed with it darkening my most visible spot.

My husband is mid 40s and tho he isn’t aging as fast as me what feels like I think this is definitely great addition to his quick and easy skincare routine. He also uses Nivea spf men moisturizer and these two works perfectly together. It’s hydrating, improves his skin tone and helps to fight those wrinkles that are starting to coming. Amazing quality and little goes a long way, just what he needs for quick and easy skincare routine!

This serum pleasantly surprised - light texture, quickly absorbed without leaving stickiness. It moisturizes, refreshes and makes my skin smoother. A great choice for daily care!

This is my first foray into face care other than just soap.I know there have been some complaints about the scent in other reviews but I like it. It is pleasant and clean smelling.You don't need much of it to get full coverage and it absorbs well leaving my skin feeling soft and moisturized.I fully intend on continuing it's use daily.

This Nivea product is probably the best thing I have found for my face and neck that have been damaged by long hours fishing in the summer. I have clear signs of sun damage on my skin near my face, and this product has really helped to fix some of those signs. My skin looks much younger and healthier after only a week of daily applications. I've noticed not only my appearance has improved but also my skin is much softer feeling and better hydrated. I definitely recommend this to other with sun damaged skin!

Pros:-I am in love with all of Nivea Mens products. They always become a favorite, and something I end up buying time and time again. This is no exception.-The reason I love this so much is the scent. It's a light, refreshing scent that lingers for a few hours. It has a light hint of men’s cologne.-This makes my skin and face feel more moisturized and my skin a bit softer.-The applicator top is easy to use and you only need a half of a pump to cover your face.Considerations:-The claim to provide “younger looking skin” was based on a self-assessment study of 34 men, according to the description, so take that for what it is.

There are a ton of skin-care products on Amazon, but I prefer name-brands like Nivea. A few recommendations:1. a very small amount goes a LONG way. Be extremely judicious in how much you apply2. there is a scent which you may or may not like... see #1 about using less3. it feels a bit greasy, but that goes away quickly4. i haven't personally noticed any difference yet in appearance, but its winter (as I write this review), and I can definitely feel the moisturization.I really liked the dispensing bottle. Well made, easy to use, and I'm able to control how much product I'm dispensing.Cons:- a bit on the expensive side, but so are many skin-care products

I like this serum but I am not sure about the long term effects. It does seem to freshen up my face so it's doing something. As an added bonus it has a great scent in my opinion.

I really like this facial moisturizer, after I week I was impressed by its ability to take the edge off of some of my wrinkles - and I was originally quite skeptical of that claim. I use a little under 1 pump because the bottle dispenses just a tad more than I need. It smells nice. It applies very easily, and any greasy feeling is gone within a few minutes. It's great! I'll be ordering more of this when I run out of it.

While it may take weeks to see the full effect, I can say this after using for the last six days. It feels cool and incredibly moist when applying it on your face, but within minutes, it is completely soaked in and there is no oily or greasy residue eft at all. So far, I really like the resulting feel and look of my skin after use. I’m happy to have a name brand product and it comes in a nice bottle, too.

I got this for my husband, who at 43, has taken an interest in his skincare (and started using my products lol). He says this goes on nice and light, dries quickly (not sticky or greasy) and leaves his skin feeling hydrated and looking plump/firm. He really likes that it doesn't make him break out and that it doesn't cause any irritation to his skin. I've now started a little skin care routine for him including this and he's impressed.

This definitely leans masculine and smells like cologne. The serum is milky and runny and goes on very light weight on the skin with a bit of initial stickiness but it gets absorbed after a few seconds. I love that it's a travel sized bottle and fits into an aftershave kit. However the real question is how do I encourage my husband to use this regularly seeing as this man still has the jar of moisturizer I bought him a year ago!
